I have won several domestic and international obstacle course races with the Spartan race series, including one in Paris, France. Burpees, box jumps and wall balls are my jam! I recently ran a postpartum personal best 10k, finishing in 47:37.

About Coach

For a long time, I fixated on calories burned as an indication of my quality of workout. I treated class workouts like mini competitions, fixating on the RX standard as the success line. As I have matured in my relationship to fitness, workouts have become a gift of care I give my body instead of a penance to pay for what I eat and drink. I am learning more about how to exercise according to my infradian rhythm, and according to my recovery and optimal strain. I continue to rack up the wins and the gains, but they come from slowly doing what's right instead of quickly doing what's hard.

Turning Point

In a world that loves to convince us that our bodies are bad, I'm on a journey to believe that my body is good. My daily workouts are a constant reminder that I have a body that was made to move and that I am capable of growth, even as I age. When I find myself criticizing my shape or body composition in the mirror, it's reassuring to have wins in the gym that remind me that I am capable, I am strong, and my body is good.

Motivation & Passion

I love biomechanics! I love thinking about functional movement and want to coach in a way that helps your body move more functionally. I'm going to bring energy to my sessions to push you through the grind, and passion to form that will help unlock greater potential in what you're capable of!
